ABOUT US

Studio Ishiwata specializes in launching sagas and storyworlds while conserving cultural and creative integrity. Protecting the original mythos while expanding it to inspire future generations. We are guardians of storyworlds.

We are a boutique crossmedia (transmedia) studio with a primary focus on interactivity founded by Eiko Ishiwata composer from Earthlock: Festival of Magic and The Girl and the Robot. We specialize in Action/Adventure/Fantasy and Magical Realism.

Inspired by Japanese Shōwa era 昭和 retro media, we have embraced modern technology but kept our outlook and affections pure. We are storytellers, creators of new dimensions, new realities. Whether it is video games, cinema, AR, VR, comic books, podcasts or anything in between. Virtual production technology is already disrupting the media industry and what is coming will transcend medium and imagination. We are ready for it. Are you?

Our founder has been involved with many screenings, performances, international awards and nominations in her career.

Stories are a candle to our dreams. Unfolding myth and transcending time.

Never forget how to love a story and be a fan.
